Beavers work 80 hours a week. Eric is a beaver. Involved in all aspects of the operation, he can be found working through small meaningful details with the design team one moment, and on the job site working through structural challenges the next. Eric takes the lead on all business development, selecting projects that present opportunities to positively influence the communities around them. His passion and attention to detail have gotten us to where we are today. When this beaver is at play you can usually find him swimming alongside his dogs in Rhode Island.

Carla is the former Co-Founder of Urbane. After years of choreographing the intricacies of ballet, Carla brings those skills into the world of interior design. With a watchful eye on her budget, she carefully curates spaces and selects finishes that make her vision a reality. Outside of work, she is a wife and mom who can be found meticulously picking her dogs’, Tesla and Rye, hair off the furniture, and knitting while sipping on a gin & tonic with a twist of orange.

Loves tacos. Our resident cardiologist, Ralph has a pulse on all aspects of daily operations and project management. Whether forecasting and modeling future projects, balancing resource allocation across developments or overseeing site logistics, he ensures that current and horizon projects operate successfully for all parties. When his operations hard hat is off, you’ll find Ralph jumping off rooftops into pools, shreddin’ some gnar on the slopes, or helping Texas Instrument work out the kinks with the T.I. 84. The truth is, he’s a big softy behind that well-groomed beard.

Born to build, Dylan continually has his mind on all things design, whether reimagining a brownfield site or designing the perfect kitchen. He is obsessed with creating the best spaces possible and making sure the entryways are tall enough so he can fit. As the lead on Urbane design projects he is involved from conception to completion, striving to balance efficiency, aesthetics and function to create spaces of utmost value. When not signing autographs as his doppelganger Vladi Divac, he can be found scheming to improve his turn of the century home, immersed in his wood shop, or proving that anything can be a bottle opener.

Bringing decades of construction administration to the team, Joe balances design dreams with logistical reality. He is the organizational backbone of his projects and keeps all aspects of construction moving along, and on budget. Joe encompasses all things old school. During his down time he enjoys cruising to local breweries in his triumph spitfire, jamming to classic rock, and the sweet sweet sound of a rotary phone ring tone.

Dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s is Joe’s specialty, so to speak. He provides and manages the valuable information we need to operate at our highest potential. As a kid, Joe dreamed of becoming a plumber but we’re happy that dream morphed into the world of finance and numbers. Beyond his day job, Joe spends a lot of time with his family, flexing his green thumbs in the garden, and dreaming about the perfect lasagna.

Our real-life "Bob the Builder" leads the residential project team by combining years of construction and carpentry experience with an always-positive attitude. Bob's project oversight ensures construction is running on time and according to plan. On his off days, Bob spends his time with his family and his dog, plays air guitar to Stairway to Heaven, and dreams about becoming a pirate (or was it pilot?)

A perpetual problem solver, Marty has a creative solution for every issue he encounters. Urbane's MacGyver oversees all site work activity, from isolated site improvements to full-scale land development, and everything in-between. When he's not behind the wheel of a piece of heavy machinery, he's likely living his best life from behind the wheel of a boat or stick of an airplane.

Our quality control specialist. Anibal, commonly known as “Pickle” brings a positive attitude to everyday sitework. His experience with on-site residential construction and multi-family projects has given Anibal the ability to work and solve problems efficiently. Anibal is passionate about learning and eagerly tackles any challenges that arise. During his free time, you may find him performing as a personal barber for his children or lounging on a tropical beach with his family.

Passionate about design. Ybeth assists in all aspects of administrative work as well as a variety of design projects. Her interdisciplinary design background has enabled Ybeth to easily adjust to the different roles in the Design Industry. Organizational ability and attention to detail are skills that she executes in all aspects of her day to day work. Her daily tasks range from product research to monitoring and managing procurements. Ybeth enjoys working in a design firm that not only makes spaces but also creates great environments for people. When she is not working, you will find her trying out a new seafood restaurant or on the beach with her family.

If someone understands the importance of clear communication and teamwork, that person is Jay. Alongside the Sr. Project Manager, Jay coordinates and monitors all aspects of construction. His accountability and organizational skills expedite the progress of the day to day work across multiple construction projects. What Jay most enjoys about his work is the  Urbane team and the fast-paced environment in which no two days are alike. Outside of work, you can find him going to see live music with his better half or hanging out with his cats and dog.
